Terms of Service

By purchasing, downloading, or using Nodt ("the app"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Nodt is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy processes your payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and issues your receipt. We never see or store your card details. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms.

A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use Nodt on computers you own or control. You may not:

• resell, share, or redistribute the app or its installer;
• reverse-engineer, modify, or remove any notices from the app, except where the law allows it.

The app and its design remain our property. The license does not transfer ownership of the software to you.

Your notes are yours. Nodt stores them as Markdown files on your computer and does not upload them anywhere. Because your data stays on your device, you are responsible for keeping it safe, including your own backups beyond the snapshots Nodt makes.

We may release updates that fix bugs or add features. We are not obligated to provide any particular update or to support the app indefinitely.

All sales are final, except in the cases listed in our Refund Policy.

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free or that it will never lose data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Nodt.

We may update these Terms. The effective date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
